From The "old Man" And "shellfish Aunt" To See The Translation Of Fu Lei

FU LEI is one of the famous translators in the Chinese modern literature. Fu Lei has his own unique language style, literature and art; which made his writing different from other's.Fu Lei contributed in the Chinese literature with his rich translation career. He realized a massive admiration due to his great works.In literary world, Fu Lei and Balzac both are well-known, because of their achievements. Whether in China or abroad, they have a high academic status. Many scholars have studied their writings, which reflect their wealth of knowledge. In this paper, I aim to study and compare the original and translated copy of《le Pere Goriot》and《la Cousine Bette》; two of Balzac's famous novels. With the use of western translation theories; also focusing on studying Fu Lei's translation theory.
