On The Principles Of Vocabulary Teaching In Intensive Reading Course Of Chinese As A Foreign Language At An Advanced Stage And Policies

This paper, from the teaching methodology's point of view, gives a contrast between primary Chinese intensive reading course and advanced Chinese extensive course through the study on the problem and shortcomings existed in advanced Chinese intensive reading course teaching. I have found out that lexical teaching is still the key point of teaching in advanced Chinese intensive reading course, the foundation of enhancing the teaching effect of advanced Chinese intensive reading course, and the prerequisite of article teaching. Therefore, I have advanced four major principles and strategies on lexical teaching of advanced Chinese correcting mistakes beforehand , enlarging vocabulary moderately, reappearing vocabulary repeatedly, emphasizing on the practical application.
