Vocabulary is an important part of language,has an important position in the language system .It is difficult for learners to communicate without grasping numbers of vocabulary .At present,more and more Chinese teachers realize the importance of vocabulary teaching.At the primary stage of Chinese study, as a main course, intensive reading course is comprehensive and fundamental,the class hours are more than other courses,it is convenient for learners to study vocabulary knowledge, from the sound,word-shape and meaning.In this article,the learners are in the environment of Chinese education condition, most of them are adults.Their study motivations, learning experiences, learning abilities, professions and individual characters are fairly complicated, and their accept abilities, degrees of knowledge mastered, anxiety levels are also different. Teachers should attent that the learners of the primary stage just start to contact Chinese,they have not got a complete concept of Chinese language system ,the connection between the Chinese language and their brain reflection is temporary,learners are in an inchoate state,and their learning is unsettled.Teachers should accord to the characteristics of primary Chinese learners,utilize appropriate teaching techniques and methods,guid the learners to do a lot of practices,make Chinese language symbol gradually form intuitive knowledge in their minds,prompt Chinese learning into a stable stage.This article accords to the requirements of primary stage vocabulary learning, aimes at the characteristics of the primary stage students, introduces vocabulary teaching steps in elementary Chinese intensive reading course. Dictation and question are effective review methods what can check the learning state of student, and can help students strengthen the memory once again.Vocabularies'showing and recognition are the beginning of vocabulary teaching. It can make the students have a deep first impression if we show the vocabulary by blackboard writing, multimedia, teaching aids, new words table. Teachers'normal reading, students'following reading, students reading together,individual students reading and other forms of reading favore for the students to master the accurate pronunciation and to strengthen the memory of pronunciation.This artile according to examples,introduces translating method,intuitive method,explation and other methods in Chinese vocabulary teaching , puts forward that teachers should according to the difference of the words choose proper way to explain.The author summarizs five ways:strengthening the pronunciations,training of writting forms,meaning consolidating,training of usage and comprehensive training, advocates to train the sound, form , meaning and usage of the vocabulary. When vocabulary teaching finished, it is necessary for teacher to lead students have a brief summary, give learners some flexible homework to do according to the situation of them. In addition ,the author proposes that teachers should take the student as the center in class,choose flexible way to mobilize all learners to participate in practice as much as possible,set a real language environment,appropriately building vocabulary according to the students' interests and abilities. Teachers should keep a stable vocabulary teaching mode to alleviate anxious of students, improve the learning efficiency, and remember to review the learned vocabulary timely.This article introduces the application of game teaching method, web teaching method,context teaching method to vocabulary teaching in primary Chinese intensive reading course.Game teaching method is conducive to make the atmosphere lively on the class and remember the vocabulary un-consciousness.It is a training method that incorporate teaching into play.The author introduces seven kinds of games:the tongue twisters and rhymes, instructing game, number game, chain game,vocabulary assembling game, poker game and name game.At the same time, the author presents the points for attention.Because modern Chinese vocabulary has obvious web properties, teachers should consciously make use of the web teaching method to make up the shortage of textbook that only learn the words base on the article, guide learners to pay attention to the rules of the vocabularies'meaning,build foundation for students beyond learning. The dependence on the context of Chinese is outstanding,context teaching method can help learners to understand the vocabulary's meaning in context,grasp the knowledge of vocabulary comprehensively,be able to learn and utilize vocabulary flexibly.
