From the topic of "Mingjiao and Nature" of Weijin Metaphysics, this thesis is about ideal personality of the representative people in three period of Weijin Metaphysics, that is, about the reconstruction of aesthetic subject's personality. It is from the perspective of aesthetics to study the question. The thesis applies a method of combining history and logic. According to history sequence, it reveals the main viewpoints of the representative people as well as the beauty of their personality. It also reveals the internal relations of their thoughts in logic. The method of case study will be applied to approach the main people's personality aesthetic thoughts. The discussion of Mingjiao and Nature, which happened in the environment of the times and academy, is the subject of Weijin Metaphysics. From the perspective of the times, the harmony of Nature and human beings is seriously destroyed by the hazard of nature and people, which leads to people's skeptical even negative attitude toward to traditional standards of value and to reconsider the meaning of God and human beings' value. From the academic perspective, the deep development of the discussion of Name and Fact made people concern their survival environment, the law and principle which society works by, the reconstruction of social principle. The two aspects as main factors lead to the appearance of the topic.LiuShao' Biography of People originally provides theory basis for selecting qualified persons, but it set for standard for ideal personality. His ideal personality is sage. He regarded "harmony" as a basic trait of ideal personality. In fact, he appreciated persons from the perspective of ethics and aesthetics.WangBi' ideal personality is similar to LiuShao'. His ideal personality is also sage. HeYan thought that sages had no feelings. According to his viewpoint of "Mingjiao comes from Nature'", WangBi disagreed with what HeYan had said and advanced ''sages have feelings", which endows with sages human feelings. In addition, he argued that sages should have super intelligence. That "sages have feelings" makes sages return to man's world, reduces personality god to common persons and discovers life feelings for sages. WangBi emphasized sages' feelings were natural and harmonious, stressed "feelings are caused by something but not restricted by it", that is, sages have feelings but they don't indulge in themselves . WangBi' theory exerts a tremendous influence on WeiJin people, who emphasized life feelings. Where do feelings come from? They come from WangBi' viewpoint of "sages have feelings".JiKang and RuanJi didn't mediate Mingjiao and Nature, and they raised the clarion call, "Over Mingjiao and follow Nature". They strongly antagonized common Mingjiao. Nature was against Mingjiao. There is no possibility of reconciling each other. So, their ideal personalities aren't sages, but gentleman and Zhiren. They strongly opposedMingjiao and the society, even their hearts full of contradiction, but they were still eager for harmonious feelings and a harmonious society. They developed the factor of WangBi' emphasizing life feelings, and thought common people should attach great importance to feelings. Therefore, their ideal personalities pay more attention to the reconstruction of aesthetic subject. There are three common traits of their ideal personality: first, aesthetic personality frees from vulgarity; second, bold and unconstrained free personality; third, natural and unfettered personality. But there is great difference between them. JiKang put his ideal personality into practice and turned Metaphysic idea into real life. His ideal personality is not only practical but also transcendent. There is a little illusion in RuanJi' ideal personality. He has his spiritual sustenance in illusory god world. His idea is transcendent, but not practical. So, RuanJi lived a life of obeying Mingjiao in surface but disobeying in heart, and he had wandered in idea and reality all the time of his life.JiKang and RuanJi's viewpoint of Mingjiao and Nature...
