Inquiry About Weijin Metaphysics And The Spirit Of The Landscape

The Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties represent a critical period in Chinese art and aesthetics, changing its focus from society to individual as well as from the external transcendence to the inward. From the Wei and Jin Dynasty figure character beauty, to the development of Eastern Jin Dynasty figure natural beauty as fashion, the prosperity of landscape painting began to become a supplement of hiking tour. The landscape painting has become independent and its new form of art after the figure painting, landscape poetry and pastoral poetry. It explores the new features of the Wei Jin landscape spirit and its profound influence on Chinese ancient landscape paintings. Finally, it explores the contemporary significance of metaphysics in the Wei and Jin Dynasties under the influence of the spirit of landscape, giving the spirit of landscape a new vitality in modern society. For the harmony theory that man is an integral part of nature, yearning the ideal way of life to respect the natural, and equal respect for the ecological. Wei and Jin Dynasties have the profound significance to contemporary society and the spirit of the ecological crisis of metaphysics. However, the influence of Wei and Jin Dynasties landscape spirit in contemporary society is far from sufficient. Modernization brings about people endlessly busy, spiritless and unable to attend to this great gift of natural landscape. Therefore, the spirit of landscape is not only essential to promoting contemporary art, but also the fundamental spirit of Chinese nationality. This is also the meaning of spirit of landscape in the modern society.
