Thinking Of The Art Technology

Standing on the turning point of the century , we are faced with a technical age . Technology is getting near the society and people's life little by little . It has brought about extensive influence to the beings . Art, as an important territory of being , is also faced with a technical circumstance . Technology's influence to art is becoming stronger and stronger . Now , it has turned into an impassable part of the culture studies that we study the technology in art and the relation between art and technology . Nevertheless, many questions will not be explained if we treat art and technology on the phenomenon level only . So it is necessary that we surmount the phenomenon level and study the essence of technology and the delicate relation between art and technology deeply . This dissertation tries to treat the questions of art and technology on such level, so we can touch the development of the art to a certain extent.In this dissertation , the technology in the art is given a definition at first, then the dissertation analyzed from two aspects of technology's substance and technology's essence . At the same time the influence of technology's substance and technology's essence to art is discussed . This is Part One .Part Two mainly analyze the deep relation between technology and art combined with the present circumstances .This part regard the technology's paradox as the surmounting point and discuss the positive effect and negative effect. It also discusses the influence of technology to the questions of space's changing into time and time's changing into space in art .So we can see the complex but rich relation between technology and art more clearly under present circumstances . The last part quotes the art production theory of Walter Benjamin as basis to discuss the question that the originality art can still exist at the stereotyped age of technology copy ."Denkeri" means revealing questions carefully and deeply . This dissertation treats the technology in art with the attitude of "denken" . The writer of this dissertation wishes to clear up one existing way of art through the "denken" of technology in art . So we can treat the relation between art and technology more carefully and inject new vigor to art .
