In 1990s, historical material novels emerge in large numbers. They went into questions from individual and folk point of view. These novels adopted newer language and structural form. The writers imagined and fabricated history became the source of writing history, therefore this kind of novels protruded the fortuity and personality of history, overturned the historical determinism, historical wholenesality, historical fatalism and historical termination, but emphasized the non-continuity of history, negated historical Utopia but insisted realistic struggle of history, thereby resumed another speech style about specific history being at individual mind but beyond of main discourses and showed the unique times characters of 1990s.The thesis selects three representative writers. Su Tong, Liu Zhenyun ,Wang XiaoBo through comparing them from longitudinal and transverse directions and inducing and synthesizing, we can reveal the difference in value outlook of the writers of new historical narratives of 1990s. Also we can summarize' emergence. Evident common ground and the one-sided views which are universal. The thesis confirms the existing value and sense of the new historical narratives and also think deeply their difficult position. The writer of thisthesis synthesizes positive effect and negative effect of them, so we can understand thoroughly the new historical narrative thoughts of 1990s.
