To Folk Art, From The Rural Folk Rites

This dissertation focuses on inspecting GUZIYANGGE.The study object is GUZIYANGGE in Shang He Country, Shan Dong Province. The dissertation demonstrates the transformation and inheritance on cultural function of GUZIYANGGE activities from custom to folk art, which begins with investigating four villages. It also analysis the background causes of transformation and inheritance through all kinds of social characters during those activities, which basing on historical progress.This dissertation includes four sections.The preface points out the current study situation of GUZIYANGGE in Shang He and the study emphasis and method in dissertation. The chapter one states the situation of study object, since the People' s Republic of China was founded. GUZIYANGGE is differentiated two types by the means of cultural function, custom and folk art. In the basis of probe to four villages, the chapter two demonstrates the transformation and inheritance on cultural function of GUZIYANGGE activities. The chapter three argues the function and signification of all kinds of social characters in GUZIYANGGE activities, which is in contemporary history.
