Music, including Piano Music, is the Art of Tone.The color of tone is one of the key factors of music style, and also is one of the main means of presenting piano music. Therefore, timbre means acoustics fascination caused by variously infinite articulation. As the embodiment of music style timbre surely is in all music works, with different code of different composers.This dissertation emphasized on the articulation and timbre of J.S.Bach's keyboard works in terms of that time aesthetics, the instrument structure, the timbre characteristic, the traditional performance. Comparing with the different performance style of some famous pianists the dissertation discusses in detail the relationship between Bach works' genre, melody, texture, structure and articulation & timbre. Therefore, the performance well based on the analysis and comprehension is more convictive. Effectively connecting the articulation practice with works analysis it will well help pianist on timbre control and music comprehension. Obviously it is one of the most effective ways to grasp the style and real content of Bach's music.
