There are always a lot of disagreements which are either for or against involving in the education of traditional Chinese painting as well as the teaching material. The majority of people are used to treating their shortcoming and flaw with critical ages, while paging fewer attentions to their excellence and good qualities. All these are existing owing the lack of completely and profoundly understanding to the Chinese traditional fine arts culture and the traditional fine arts education. In fact There are many good qualities valued to be studied and inherited in the traditional education of fine arts. Especially in our new time when southern and western cultures impact each other and various ideologies come into being constantly. So it is essential to probe into today's education and teaching material of Chinese painting with dialectical and development views.This article is based on the Jie-zi-yuan drawing. From the aspects of explanation and genetics, having the aid of the concepts of version and gene, using the angle of views of psychology , sociology , philosophy , semi logy and linguistics, the author, explains the Jie-zi-yuan drawing both in ancient language surrounding and in today's language surrounding. The purpose is to try to instruct the beginners of Chinese painting to value the tradition through the traditional subjects. By means of analyzing of education and teach material of today's Chinese painting as well as the renewed dissecting to them, the author tried to make people think over them and put forward some feasible suggestion.The themes consists of instruction text and ending words. In the interaction, the purpose of write the article is given and the text includessix parts. Part I inquires into looking at Jie-zi-yuan drawing from the angle of version and gene and elaborates the relationship among them. Part II analyses the version of Jie-zi-yuan drawing from various aspects. Part III is also based on Jie-zi-yuan drawing, looking for and explainingthe gene of Chinese fine arts culture, Illustrating the genetic expression Chinese fine arts culture that exists in Jie-zi-yuan drawing. Part IV gives a new explanation to the Jie-zi-yuan drawing in today's language surrounding, agreeing that spirit, brush and ink, signal, education can be changeable with the different historical language surrounding. The rest two parts are the main parts of the whole article.
