| To the problem about the method of observation in current teaching of basic art, through pondering over my personal experience in painting and sculpturing, together with making a summary from the teaching practice of the basic sculpturing. I put forward my own views on this problem, and meanwhile, had an instructive research for it. From the problems occurred when students transfer from painting to sculpturing, I mentioned the idea of how to understand the integrality of the figure, and also explained, in fact, it is a change of observation method. This article has demonstrated, with examples, :which observation method is better in the exercise of true-life sculpturing and how important it is to master it. Referring to the sculpturing beginners, the article pro-posed lead them to know the importance of cultivating a positive obser-vation method paying attention to observing from the angle of three-dimensional space. This method was born with; the mankind making students start from a higher level , and as well as possess stronger personal development potential, that also is helpful for students to create sculpture artworks With stronger art-impression, and better display the meaning of the artworks. Besides, the benefits of introducing the three-dimensional spacial observation method are also mentioned in the teaching of basic drawing by reversely thinking. Therefore, students not only adjust the way of observation by sculpturing learning, also form a new understanding to figure, as a resultr that plays a significant role, for painting majors, in improving their grades. |
