The "observation" here mainly refers the art intuition, which is quite different with the common daily utilitarian one or the scientific one. This pure art aesthetic intuition is not like the philosophers proving or controlling the meaning of this world. The main similarities between the artists’observation and phenomenon are the exclusion to the social viewpoint or the no comment for the existed judgments. I personally quite agree with Prof. Ni Liangkang’s idea, who works in Zhongshan University. His concepts this art attitude—"forgetting oneself" and the phenomenon attitude—"beyond oneself", and this means the shelving of the artist’s background and the existence of the audience, or we could say that the artist might be "no interest" with his own work.This paper tries to explain the observation method which is expressed mainly by the visual art, and focuses on the development of sculpture art. The larger range of the observation method under the human social cultural background is beyond the paper. It also analyzes the influence that observation method made to visual art and the different expression ways constructed during the procedure, through the sculpture method system and the reasons of its differences. The paper prefers that art should consider more on the pure visual experience and "facing the issue itself", and explore the rich content of the visual reality through doubt and question. I personal believe that shelving the transcendental philosophy and the prejudice of the strong first Impression, and then trying to break the art creation and expression would be a director short cut combining research to practice.
