At present, academic circles consider universally that the developments of the Rusheng in different dialects are not in the same ways during the different time. So, we must treat them differently. As the Yuan and Ming Dynasty are the most important period for the development of the Rusheng, this article mostly centers on the general situation about it in northern dialect during this period. In academic circles, it have been argued half the century about the question whether the Rusheng existed or not in the northern Chinese of Yuan Dynasty, and still had no the hard conclusion. Were there any differences in Rusheng of northern part of china between Ming and Yuan Dynasty? This problem, up to now still disappear deep into the discussion. Previous study put emphasis on the characteristics about the Rusheng only in a series of phonological books. However, as the characteristics about these books cannot be defined yet, different researchers can give different descriptions about the Rusheng in Chinese during this time. What this article will do is to study systematically about some other new representative materials, which can reflect the real situation about phonetics in Northern part of china. This article mostly talks about the general situation of the Rusheng in some valuable ancient records including Yuan Qu, some notes, Hphags-pa Scrip and ancient Korean texts. According to internal relations between these materials, through complete study, we give a brief account of the Rusheng of the Yuan and the Ming Dynasty in the Northern part of china: in the Yuan Dynasty, The FourthTone (Rusheng Diao) Had already disappeared and the Rusheng Phonology had joined together with Yinsheng Phonology. At that time, there was no glottal stop too. The Ming Dynasty had no the big difference with the Ming dynasty, however the tone of ancient QingRusheng contained new variety.Clearly, this article gives some definite conclusions and powerful indirect proofs to make sure about the characteristics of the Rusheng in those phonological books such as Zhong Yuan Yin Yun and Meng GU Zi Yu during the Yuan and Ming Dynasty. This article also gains a periodical conclusion of the Yuan and Ming Dynasty for the research about the history of the Rusheng in Northern dialect area of China.
