Thinking Of The Scientific Spirit And The May Fourth Literature

This dissertation tries to research the change of 5.4 literature thought because of the participation of science spirit, and also tries to use the science spirit to investigate the inside logic of the literature development.Any comments to history are all the process of changing the angle of view. I chose science spirit, this special angle of view, to probe into the literature thought in the framework of literature modernization, I pay attention to the modernization of the thought particularly. My thesis is divided into five parts totally, that is, the literature idea, art thought and artistic process, the usage of language , literary historical phenomenon, literature contestation.The first part corresponds to three aspects of the founding of "materialism "literary idea. The second part studies the change of the art conception and artistic process because of the participation of science spirit. The third part pay attention to the usage of modem vernacular Chinese in the view of science spirit. Four, use the Theory of Evolution explain some literary historical phenomenon. In the last part, I want to probe into literature contestation to find out what had led to the lose of the science spirit.
