Value Orientation And The Security System Of Contemporary Educational Ethics

Education helps to spread civilization, teach individual, civilize people as well as promote human development in an all - around way. In fact, education has virtues and evils. Especially under the condition of market economy, education is affected by its benefits and utilitarianism, aside its virtuous value orientation . People focus much on education ethic, because of education s moral problems. Therefore, it has very theoretical significance and practical value to study value orientation of education ethic and its guarding system. And it helps to justify education.The basis of studying education ethic is to define and analyse its connotation, characteristics and evaluations, while the value orientation of education and its guarding system are the important theoretical and practical problems. The value orientation of education ethic seeks what it should be, and it is a kind of value judgement towards education nature and the present educational situation of our country. The aim of discussing and studying education ethic lies in making it play a better role in value guiding and .education standard, and it is good for widening the studying sights of education ethics so as to promote the development of education ethics.The thesis consists of four sections .Section One: education ethic is moral law in education activities and relationships. It has three characteristics: future expectancy, individual care and social relationship.Section Two: In education, unjustness, punishment and corruption all go aside correct educational value orientation, which are caused only because education is affected by utilitarianism, instrumental ism as well as teacher's lacking of respect and care towards students and decaying occupational moral.Section Three: what value orientation education ethic persists in is the key of making education virtuous. This thesis argues that education ethic should maintain the following: (l) Carrying on student- orientated education (2) Protecting and respecting human rights of educatees (3) Realizing educational justice (4) Training qualified students of full - development (5) Carrying on sustainable educational developmentSection Four: Guarantee system is necessarily established in order to ensure realizing value orientation of education ethic. Firstly, strengthening moral education of educators and improving their vocational morals. Secondly, establishing and bettering public - opinion supervising , rewards and punishment, etc. Thirdly, establishing education laws and rules and improving educators' law senses in order to ensue the realization of the value orientation of education ethic.
