As a scholarship student with cultural and educational exchange between China and Nepal, I would like to present the thesis entitled the ancient sculptures of Nepal and china.A thesis presented on the history of ancient sculptures of Nepal and China, beginning with the golden period of Nepal Licchivi period and northern Qi period in China. The main part focuses on relation with ancient art between China and Nepal. The thesis is also an investigation of the Chinese, Tibetan and Nepalese ritual for consecrating Sculptures, Stupas, and temples. It contributes to the often neglected field of Nepalese and Chinese ancient art. It is concerned with the sacred nature of objects of worship as well as with the Buddhist. The thesis highlights the artistic achievements of Nepalese and Chinese most imaginative and sophisticated aesthetic traditions. The thesis brings together the world's finest examples of Chinese and Nepalese ancient art, drawn from many different valuable books and websites and also from public collections in Europe and America of Nepalese ancient sculptures.Featuring lots of aesthetically finest and most powerful masterpieces of Nepalese, Tibetan, and Chinese ancient art produced over the past thirteen centuries. It highlights the extraordinary artistic accomplishments of esoteric Hindu and Buddhist sculptures and at the same time leads the reader to understand the basic function of these exquisite works.
