Since the later of 20th century, people used image to define the main character of this times. For it, this kind of opinion, such as" image-tranmision"," image-times", was little by little recepted.and more than this, some people directly thought" post-modern" was equal to " image", when they describled the character of our times. Meanwhile.there was an opposite dualism between writing and image: text pattern and image pattern, in these ideas.Authour implied this opposite dualism was exaggerated. They were rather difference than permeation each other. Especially 20th century, imagination of text became the popular trend. Text was regarded as the visible objiect. Then, imagination of text was of a strength, which overturned the traditional opinion that made the text be an ideographic and expressing ideology function. Then, imagination of text was related to" express one invisible object". The space of text was not regarded as a particular ideology, but conveyed an invisible meaning. This was made of dialectics between" visible" and" invisible". The" vision dialectics" .abstracted from" text image" .effectively rejusted the vision-single mind.This was ture that" vision dialectics" not only took place in the west post-modern context, but also existed in the traditional Chinese culture. The westerner's mind pattern was built on time, but Chinese mind pattern was space. Time pattern gave the sense for westerner, and made them know people's nature. Compared with space, westerner paid more attention to time. Time pattern let westerner got a ability, then led to a great number of narative literature in their history. We could almoust say west literature, which was full of enthusiasm about narration and fiction, came from Bible. Through Bible, which had a complete pattern of time, people got a kind of value of living. Chinese culture, which tightly related to the agriculture, produced mind of space, this mind pattern originated from the observasion to nature. Life sense of Chinese came from it. This mind pattern could not make Chinese culture had a strong narrative ability. Therefore, in traditional Chinese culture, narrative literature have not been developed completely. In China, there had no earth to plant a seed like Greece Epic. Chinese literature organized by space pattern.So old Chinese poem was imagery. The mode of peom was a unit of space and picture. This unite was not simpe just like pasteup in the west post-modern context. Among the picture, the air was circulating. Therefore, we can say, space is not the dead and-alive, but invisible. Invision was neither the abstract nor concrete objiect It was a bridge which linked the Sky and Earth, God and People, visible word and invisible word. Empty-image was the centre of traditional Chinese aesthetic model, and was the paticular expression of vision dialectics. Chinese poem and picture tried to use the visible contend to express invisible mind, so invisible mind was more prefound than visible, and we basically understood the life sense from the invisible mind.Above all, in the west post-modem and Chinese trandition context, text, as being made of space, or as a vision exsting, had a different sense. Vision dialects saved us from the human self.
