Women's Studies In The Spring And Autumn Period

The Chunqiu period was very particular in Chinese history. In this period, the situation of society was turbulence and unrest, while the value system was confused. In order to understand thoroughly the Chunqiu period, we must deliberate the female of the times. This dissertation take the female were involved in the historical document Zuozhuan as its study's objects, argues four problems about the female of the Chunqiu period. In section one, we take the research about the statues of the female of the Chunqiu period. We can see the different from the statues of the Chunqiu period and that of the Shang Dynasty and Xizhou Dynasty. In the next section, we argue that matrimony was the female's existence-style. In the third chapter, we will analysis the relations of the female and the political of this period. In the end, we study the feminine consciousness that reflected in the times.In the long period, we think that the female was nothing. So the research of the female was very frail. While we saw that the study about the female of the Chunqiu period were focus on the forms of matrimony. This paper takes the females themselves as its object, in order to have the outline of the relation of the female and the society in the Chunqiu period.
