Playwright Above. Sima Guang

Being famous for politics and history, Sima Guang gained great achievements in economics, military and literature as well. In this thesis, based on the intercourse between Sima Guang and others, we make a special and primary research into him, with a view to show his characteristics and experiences, his conceptual system and his value conception. By doing so, we also can get to the bottom of inner world and get to know the influence he made on the politics, history, economics and literature etc of that period.We constitute this thesis by means of studying his intercourse with others. In this thesis, we focus on Sima Guang especially. Besides, we pay attention to other persons contacting with him in that period. In order to have a complete knowledge of him, the persons into whom we choose to research comprised of philosopher, politician, historian, literati, the Same-Year, colleague, county leader, hermit and so on. All together, they are fifteen and can be classified into seven sorts. Through looking into their nature and thought, we try to have a deep understanding of Sima Guang in a special periodical background.When selecting the persons contacting with, we pick up those who are common and particular. As to the researching method, we prefer to collecting the original materials and suitable explaining, having nothing to do with the theoretical composition. In respect with the specific performance, we study most problems and make conclusions in accord with the documentary materials, doing away with the subject imagination.
