The Chinese Study Of Tang Poetry

In this thesis, in light of the academic history of people's research on the poems written in Tang Dynasty, we make a research into the discussion concerning these poems, which is made by people living in Tang Dynasty.In recent years, people have made great success in this field, but most of them aren't direct and systemic. At the beginning, we make a review of them, and then explain the value of this thesis, the background of it and its institution.The thesis is made up of four sections. In the first two sections, we analyze these discussion in respect with their form and content. Each of them comprises of six chapters. In the meanwhile, each chapter is separated into several sorts. We mainly talk about those chapters that are popular or unpopular. We mainly deal with the amount, the distribute, the origin and so on, setting some representative examples.The last two sections goes a little further. In the third section, we explain people's viewpoint when appraising these poems written in that period. In the last section, we talk about four criticizing methods of theirs. Each chapter has its main points and minor points. On explaining, we sort them out in view of their general attribute. Each one is not completely different from others.At the end, we generalize this thesis as a whole, and make some supplementary explaination.
