Xie tiao is a poet who lived in the South Dynasty .His five-word poem includes three parts: Yong Wu poem, Yue Fu poem, and Shan Shui poem. As for the characteristics of contents and forms, the Yong Wu poem have more decoration while little spirit, the Yue Fu poem is solemn without rough and beautiful without showy, the Shan Shui poem is all the scenery sentences are all the emotion sentences. In the view of the whole literature of the South Dynasty, the Yong Wu poem was in the beginning period, the Yue Fu poem was in the romantic period, the Shan Shui poem was facing the new change. According to his literature action and success, Xie tiao become a typical and excellent poet.The poem's aesthetic appreciation and personality theory in the South Dynasty is advocated and practiced in the prelude of weakening the political and educational theory traditionally. It weakens the literature's political and educational function, turns the focus of writing and critics to the writer's talent and temper, appreciates the work's beauty in words and emotions, and accordingly realize the literature's conscious and pure nature. As a whole, Xie's five-word poem can focus on his feeling and emotion in active life, pursuit the language's beauty, and this is just Xie's principal achievement.
