The paper wants to discuss that semiotica is applied in the field of product design. Product is looked as a synthesis system that has effect of bedeuten, manifestation and conversion. In fact, by organization of form, color and material of product, the complicated technology and culture meaning is convertet into solid form, with which is realize the communication between designer and user.The paper researchs semiotica in the first part; in the second part, semiotica has been applied in the field of product design, and make parsing in three lay of product; in the third part, makes research going deep into, validating the theory of semiotica being applied in the field of product design through semantics bifferential method, and scans the theory again in the new point of view.People and product have all kinds of effect by the sign in the whole and detail. That the semiotica is applied in the field of product design has been regarded more and more. Analysing and cognizing sign system of product has been looked as the most part of the product design.
