Mental health is very important to everyone .So mental health education has become many universities and colleges' task now. But in the practice, we find that mental health education is composed of many components. It is so complicated that can't be carried out by only a few. The model of mental health education, as the integrity of all components, can ensure the scientific and effectiveness of mental health education. Because there are only a few popular models in the practice, so it is meaningful to conduct a new one.Survey method and document analysis are the two methods that I used in writing this paper. There are three parts: First I made a summary of the researches on the models of mental health education in the past, which based on some definitions, and draw some conclusions. Second, I analyzed the definition of metacognition, which has been testified by many researchers related to mental health, and found it possible to focus on it in mental health education. Third, I constructed a new model, which based on humanism and for all students' development, including the way of putting the model into practice.The characteristics of this article are those: First it introduced metacognition in series into mental health education, and tested it's possibility. Second it designed a new form of education -activecurriculum to help students' development. Third it found the new ways of common teachers take part in mental health education. Last it enhanced the function of mental health education center, so to reduced the resistance of interviewee.
