Su scholars group, which was led by Sushi, has an important influence on the history of ci. It's an particular scholar group,and it differed from other schools in that all of its members who didn't merely follow Sushi had personality and innovation. They were some identity and difference in their creation and theory. They altogether created the prosperity in the creation and criticism of ci during the middle and late period of Beisong Dynasty.They advocated elegance and objected vulgarity,which met the requirements of the situations of that time and the requirements of the scholar-bureaucrats' aesthetic appeals.It's their common creation inclination to make ci as they made poems. The poet, Yanyu held the point in canglangshihua that the poems in Song Dynasty were characterized by regarding the peoses,literacy talents and comments as poems. Sushi and Huangtingjian , the representative poets of Song Dynasty, their works had the tendency of regarding the peoses, literacy talents and comments as ci.Although advocating elegance in the creation of ci, the Su scholars group all showed artistic form of their own. Of all of them, the most typical writers are Huangtingjian and Qinguan, Huang considered vulgarity as elegance, however, Qin thought of grace as elegance.The styles of ci in Su scholars group are versatile, and they also have different ideas of ci,which brought about the atmosphere of creating and dicussing freely. They created the prosperity in their creation and criticism. Though this situation had much to do with Sushi.it also had a close relationship with their characters of confidence,success and innovation.The relationship between the active atmosphere of Su scholars group in creation and criticism and the prosperity of ci during that time can be explained by the self-organization principle.
