Western Marxism Consumer Culture Theory To Explore

The modern people exist in the society which is abundant in materials. Consumption becomes a necessary part of the life, becomes the inside essence and outside performance of people. The consumption brings the enormous influence not only to persons but also to the society .So the culture about the existing person also is changed, consumption culture emerges. Consumption culture is an important content on the variety of people and on the development of society. It presents the spirit feature of the time and the outside performance of the inside spirit in person. Research on it has the important meaning. This paper explains and analyzes consumption culture from the viewpoint of the culture , introduces some theories and explains their historic significance and limits. These theories have their reasonableness and should be applied now in order to guide the development of society.
