1.Calligraphy is one of the traditional East arts, it has organic associations with poem and painting, and is still so even in modern time. A person who has special skills in all three areas is called triple uniques. It is rare in china, so in Korea. Leopard Kang Sehwang (1713-1796), Xin We(1769-1847)and Kim Jeunghee (1786-1854), who were active in the later stage of the Korean Chosum Dynasty, can be called triple uniques. All of them are good at calligraphy, poem and painting.2.The later stage of the Korean Chosum Dynasty when Xin Wewas active is theprophase stage of becoming civilized, and also a special historic periodlinking the traditional thoughts and foreign thoughts. It is a very meaningful period. At that time, the culture of Chinas Tsing Dynasty has occupied its position. At the same time, many art theories have seen profound developments. At the age of 14, Xin We prostrated himself as a student of Kang Sehwang, and was taught the basic quality, for becoming triple uniques. This is very important for the Xin We career as an artist.3.Xin We kept close relations with Kang Sehwang and Kim Jeunghee. During the trip to Yan Jing, in order to let Xin We meet Weng Fanggang, Kim Jeunghee wrote a recommendation letter for him. Through the trip to Yan Jing, Xin We communicated with people in the Tsing Dynasty, and his mind changed dramatically through such communications. Weng Fanggang, whom he get to know during the trip to Yan Jing, had made great influence on Xin Wes idea of from-Su-to-Du, and to Xin Wes viewpoint of art. great influence Kim Jeunghee wrote a recommendation letter for him.
