The TV Documentary of China is facing great challenge in the global environment because of many reasons. Most of the Documentaries is not easy and ease with too much educational color like entertainment programs and is bring profits like them. As a way to leading people to know and feel the world, the Documentary must make progress and couldn't die.This paper is mainly discussing about the Marketing of Chinese TV documentary. The situation of the Chinese TV documentary is firstly described and the shortcomings are pointed out. And the successful examples are investigated and the good experiences are drawn from them. Then conclusion of how to solve the problems faced by the Chinese TV documentary is obviously carried out.The paper is composed by four parts.The first part introduces the four times as beginning, growing, descending and re-ascending. Two points was tress: not capable in the marketing competition and not skillful with creating the documentary.The second one is giving the good examples and successful experiences. This part is very important because in the next one many methods to solve the problem will be got from here.In the third part three points to end the harsh time are narrated in detail including reorientation of the creative idea, reorientation of the producing idea and reorientation of the broadcasting way.The last one gives a optimistic forecast to the Chinese TV documentary.
