The Frontier Of The Nationalist Government During National Policy

In the period of fighting the invading of Japan, Nationalist Government made policies according to the special demand in the wartime, of course, its minority policy in the borderland is not exception。 By analasing the formation background and main contents of the minority policy of Nationalist Government in the minority region, and the condition in the minority region before the war against Japan , and what policy the minority region needed, this thesis will discuss and analyse what gain and loss of the minority policy in the borderland of Nationalist Government。The first chapter mainly relates the minority policy in the borderland of Qing Government and Beiyang Government, and what minority problems the two government leaved behind, and the realistic condition and the problem of minorities exsit in the minority region before the war against Japan。 This chapter views that, there are many factors that inflenced how Nationalist Government make nation policy, and the factors mainly concentrate in three aspects: first is the minority problems that Qing Government and Beiyang Government leaved behind; second is realistic conditions of minorities in the borderland at that time; third is the crisis in the minority region before the war against Japan ?The second chapter mainly discusses the thought that guided Nationlist Government make minority policy, and main measures by which Nationalist Government carry out the minority policy, and the central organization which manage the minority business。 This chapter views that, Nationalist Government establish and carry out assimilatingthe minorities in the borderland based on the thoughts of border and the thought of Guozu; at the same time, Nationalist Government takes some special measures in the wartime aiming at the minorities in the borderland, in order to match the need of fighting against Japan。So the minority policy of Nationalist Government is of two characteristics: the assimilation of minority ethnic groups with the wartime characteristic。The third chapter mainly states the basic meaning of the minority policy which orientate the minority ethnic groups, and what kind of idea Nationalist Government have for the minority region, and the influence of the minority policy of Nationalist Government。 This chapter views that, the minority policy that Nationalist Government makes and carries out, which guided by the thought of Guozu and the thought of establishing the nation of single nation, objectively benefit that Chinese Nation is turning awaring of self 。 But because the invading of the imperislist, Nationalist Government can not regard for the benefit of the minority region , then bring some negative inflence for the minority policy, which make different degree independence appeared in the minority region。...
