Soho Furniture Humanized Design

SOHO is the initial abbreviation of "Small Office & Home Office". SOHO furniture is the offset of office furniture. It appears new characteristic because the using location has been changed after the basic function is realization. And at this time, humanity is one of the most outstanding characteristic.This article makes scientific researches on SOHO furniture, and forecasts the development direction and design orientation in the future, and brings forward the viewpoint of classifying SOHO furniture according to profession from the point of view of humanity, and expatiate the natural property and social property. When research the SOHO furniture humanity design, this article makes a great deal of investigate on ergonomics, psychology, behavior, culture aspect, and makes statistics using these investigate data. And on these foundations this article puts forward seven principles and five development direction. At the end of this article analyze two kinds of SOHO examples from ten facets on systematization idea, summarize the design rules. And make a practical design aim at the investigation object.
