Graduate Creative Work Report - Painting Paintings To Explore

I believe it is the right and time-saving way not to violate my own nature. I have explored much in and out of the field of painting to find out my own nature on painting.In my essay, you would find the process of my painting and thinking about it during the year of 2005.In this year, there are four crucial processes of my work. At the First, I turn my attention from outside figure to inside image, since I painted the works of flowers. Second, I try to explore the figure which more comport with my style. I choose flowers, women and dolls. Third, it is the process of make bigger size of my works than before. Because I used to paint smaller painting, I need the experience of making bigger works. Fourth, I come back form content to visual elements.I put my attention on choosing the colors and particulars of my paintings. I find my idea that how to do my works come back to the idea of traditional Chinese painting. The idea of traditional Chinese painting is pursuing the image that is between the outside shapes and inside shapes. I find my works spirit from reading Ophelia. I try to transform my experience of my life to the visional language. It is the most important thing that to find himself in his work. I not only care about the techniques of my works, but also I care about contemporary art and female art. Because I believe it is the artist responsibility to image out what happened in his life and the time he live. Then he and his works can communication with the people who live in today.
