The book of GuanZi is written by the scholars which are gathered in JiXia in the Warring States Period.The book comprises aboundant contents,and it can be called the representative work of the culture of Qi.As a result,We can look the book as the representation of the culture of Qi,and through the discuss of its political philosophy,we can have an general view of the book.According to the above analysis,we have the method of studing GuanZi.Starting from the naturalistic explanation on TianDao(the doctrines of Tian) in GuanZi,and through the discuss of the application of the philosophy in GuanZi,the article studied the political philosophy of GuanZi.First,the basic content of the philosophy in GuanZi is the theory on TianDao(the doctrines of Tian) which insists that Tao and Qi(the element of all things) are united.Through the theory on Tao and the opinion on Tian,GuanZi illustrates its world view and ontology.The book of GuanZi shows the attitude of naturalism in understanding of TianDao,and this is a very important character of the philosophy in GuanZi.The theory on TianDao in GuanZi shows the characters of uniting Tao and Qi, naturalism and harmonizing Tian and human,because the theory of Tao of LaoZi,the theory of JingQi and naturalistic explanation on TianDao are integrated in GuanZi.The view on TianDao in GuanZi shows that it is a certain part of HuangLao theory.Second,the theory on Tao and the naturalistic explanation on TianDao in GuanZi are not only category of natural philosophy,but also a kind of world view and ontology. As far as the theory of world view and ontology is concerned,they can be understanded in the angle of value,and becomes the intermediary from the theory of world view and ontology to the theory of politics.From this way,GuanZi sets up its political philosophy,and the political philosophy includes: the theory of virtue which insists that virtue originates from Tao;the theory of culturing our minds which askes people to be calm,to have an open mind and to be single-minded;the theory of Tao and laws which thinks that Tao and laws are united although laws originates from Tao,the theory of human nature which insists people would run for the benefit but try to avert from the disbenefit;and the theory of how to make a choice between righteousness and benefit which considers that the righteousness and the benefit are united.The theory of virtue.the theory of culturing our minds,the opinion of Tao andlaws,the theory on human nature,the theory of how to make a choice between the righteousness and the benefit and the theory of Yinyang Wuxing in GuanZi can be seen as the directions about value,at last it is connected with politics,and forms the theory of managing state affairs which has the character of being exercisable.The theory of managing state affairs includes: the theory of imitating the TianDao which is based on the theory of virtue;the administrational creeds of to be accordant with the rhythm of nature which is directed by the theory of Yinyang Wuxing; the doctrines of managing state affairs which insists that common people are the base of a country;the theory about monarches and ministers which claims that the monarches and the ministers should be syncretic,and the ministers should do everything for the monarches; the principles of social education and nomocracy which considers that civilities and laws,virtue and punishment should be banded together in managing state affairs.
