On The Rhetorical Art Of Yu Hua's Novels

Being a member of the vanguard of authors, Yu Hua's study in novel's form has got considerable achievements for which he is honored as one of the few writers who has brought real changes to China's contemporary literature. This paper discusses Yu Hua's rhetoric art used in his novels by using rhetoric theory; it also analyses his rhetoric effects and failure in rhetoric in order to illustrate his study's influence on contemporary literature. This paper probe into Yu Hua's rhetoric art of his novel from two aspect. First aspect analyse Yu Hua's skill in narrating, namely: The melting strangly of " reality ", personages' symbol, constructing again to time, to repeat and cycle the narration , the language that restore to fell. The second aspect analyse the malleability of prolonging in Yu Hua's novel of the concrete technique rhetoric is used, namely: to use irony, to use metaphor and symbolization, to simplify and omit. Yu Hua's rhetoric makes the novel with fable in the text characteristic , poem nature ground, aesthetic feeling of the music. The rhetoric of Yu Hua's novel is explored to the form of the novel in meaning of the noumenonn , having expanded the imagination space of literature and displayed the skill, mainly showing in the following aspects: The strange tactics of melting , signifying wholly etc. have found a more appropriate way for the show that " spirit is true ", the transition of its rhetoric tactics has meaning of enlightenning to the contemporary literary world too. The rhetoric of Yu Hua's novel also has a mistaken idea, namely: Whom strange bias that take pattern excessively dislike, personages' symbol bring the abstract disadvantage, failure of some novel rhetoric.
