Enlightenment: The Stick And Transcendence

After the Anti-Japan war broke out, HuFeng established the periodical 《July》 .His intention was obvious :stick to the literature position ;regard literature as the special but more actual fight. The periodical lied in its artistic position. The periodical focused on improvement of quality of woks ,sticking to the WuSi literature criticism, developing the literary usefulness. In a word ,Artistic is no more than thought.In the periodical ,what was predominant was that it fixed attention on the writer corpus spirit, paying attention to the corpus consciousness of the writer to the predominant function of the works. In confused social situation ,the publications even paid attention to the subjective will-power of the writer .Elaborate from two aspects: introduce the strong personality of western writers, emphasizing their spirits model; Criticize the objective doctrine ,and formula doctrine in literature.For guaranteeing the publications "the consciousness of enlightenment", some strategies were carried out: pure editor: Hufeng alone edit the periodical ;He consciously looked for young writer because they came from realistic living and took on new features ;mold the advanced readers :to the periodical ,the editor and the writers had same comprehension about literature. So the readers concerned the periodical should correspondingly have same understanding with the former. The periodical consciously practiced communication between the writers and the readers."The thought of enlightenment" came from three aspects :First ,Hufeng introspected the flaws in proletarian literature and deviation from literature .Hufeng confirmed his roles in literary fields: editor, literary critic, poet which brought enough confidence in himself. Lu Xun ' strategies in establishing the periodical influenced Hufeng greatly.July, Hope with special appearance inspired many small publications which resembled in style. Some writers whose characters and works' style were same gathered . This group caused Hufeng to think about the position to the writers. Their personality and spirits last forever .
