Science Literature And Art In Contemporary Literature And Science Communication In The Double Vision

Chinese modern popular science literature, though being an integral part of Chinese Modern Literature, has long been neglected by the academia and hasn't been studied and researched systematically. China is now strengthening the publicity of science popularization and encourages the development of various kinds of ways of scientific culture communication including popular science literature. Thus, it is of high value to systematically study Mr.Gao Shiqi—the great Chinese popular science writer. Through the studies of Gao Shiqi's literature works, we can reconsider him and his works in a more general sense within the overall context of Chinese Modern Literature and elevate the position of him and popular science literature in the history of literature and the history of science and technology communication. This essay make a retrospect of Gao Shiqi's brilliant life of " science communication" and elaborate on his literature works from three perspectives respectively: theoretical, scientific and artistic. And in the end, this essay summarizes Mr.Gao's literature achievement and theoretical experience. Still, there is huge deposit to explore in the treasury of popular science literature. Considering the present situation of China's science popularization, the author also gives some constructive advice on the development of Chinese popular science literature.
