According to Posncr and Furcy's research findings, there are four factors which influence the result of course design, including students' needs, social needs, theory and practice condition. Profited from the theory above, it is going to discuss ESP teaching in our country in three aspects such as needs analysis, course design including theory foundation of ESP teaching, and course design in EBP teaching in China, especially English departments in Chinese universities.In Chapter 1, we'll introduce ESP from four aspects, such as definition, classification, development and current teaching condition' compared both abroad and domestic.In Chapter 2, we'll emphasize the linguistic and learning theories that influence ESP teaching along the development.In Chapter 3, it is going to analyze Chinese students' needs and social needs together. The purpose is to identify the need of ESP in China.In Chapter 4, the last chapter, it's a good way of analyzing current teaching conditions around Chinese universities based on the theories talked in advance.
