Lexical errors in the interlanguage include errors in structure as well as in semantic meaning. The words generated by international students only exist in the interlanguage but not in the target language, that is a main kind of lexical errors—lexical structural errors. There are many examples in the interlanguage corpora of Chinese by Vietnamese students. By analyzing and contrasting those errors to claque and variable usages of idioms in the target language, the characteristics and regular rules will be revealed in the interlanguage as well as in the target language, i.e. Learning Strategies used in different levels, the influence of Vietnamese words from Chinese on acquisition and the regular rules in generating new words of Chinese.The research is based on the interlanguage corpora of Chinese by Vietnamese students (Approx. 100,000 words); the source is the papers and homework of Vietnamese students in Yunnan Normal University from 2003 to 2005 partially.To mark and analyze the corpora is for discussing two issues. One is the errors' types and each type's ration, what the characteristics in different levels; the other is to know the modes of generation in the lexical structural errors.There are no much more researches on lexical structural errors mainly because the lack of examples; whereas there are many examples...
