During recent years, the works of Songyu have been basically agreed and received in the academic world, and the scholars and professors have taken comprehensive and objective study of Songyu's literary accomplishments and status, and they have achieved a lot. On the contrary, the study of Songyu and his works from the point of the reception of aestheticism has not aroused much attention in the academic field. The reception of aestheticism stresses on the readers' initiative and creativity during the process of reading. As for the reception of aestheticism, the historical spreading of certain works is the history of being read and received. Thus, it is necessary for us to have a systematic and comprehensive exploration of the fresh topic, that is, Songyu's being approved and received, based on the ancient Chinese literature.Just as every generation has its own distinctive literature, every generation has its own literary representatives. Author, as a reader of a higher degree, his reading is a process of artificial recreativeness. Beginning with the three literary representatives', Sima Xiangru, Li Shangyin, and Liuyong respectively from the West Han, Tang, and Song Dynasties, literary works, artificial thoughts and life experiences etc. and with the view of the reception of aestheticism, this article focuses on the their creative reception of Songyu and his works. Therefore, it not only summaries the special characters and regularities of the three ancient authors' reception of Songyu and his works, but also it goes deep into and expands the study of Songyu.This article has three parts, and they are the introduction, the body and the conclusion. The body involves three sections.The introduction generalizes the study of Songyu, the research methods of the reception of aestheticism, the significance of the study of Songyu from the point of the reception of aestheticism, and the reason why authors, generation after generation, creatively receive Songyu, with Sima Xiangru, Li Shangyin and Liuyong as the typical representatives.The first section of the body emphasizes Sima Xiangru's imitative reception of Songyu. Primarily, it analyses Sima Xiangru's structural and stylistic imitative reception and creativeness of Songyu.The second section emphasizes Li Shangyin's creative reception of Songyu from the point of literary creation, emotional resonance and being elegant etc.The third section emphasizes Liuyong's creative reception of Songyu from the point of literary methods, emotional agreement and being popular etc.The conclusion of the article summarizes the three authors' creative reception of Songyu, with the stress on the different and common grounds.
