On The Conversion Of The Tang Dynasty Jimi Positive State

During Tang dynasty, Greater changes have taken place in the most periphery prefectures since their Setting-up. The periphery prefectures that haven't been changing all the time are few. The changes of the periphery prefectures are very complicated. In different areas, different tribes, their changes are not the same in different periods. According to the needs of regional situation, Tang Dynasty carries on conscious adding , being discarded or migrating to the periphery prefectures.The actions accelerated the development of the periphery prefectures. Under the intentional interference of the central government, it is a noteworthy phenomenon that some periphery prefectures turn into prefectures, and among them even some periphery prefectures have also gone through the conversions repeatedly. This kind of changes and evolution have refracted out a respect of the policy of mollification of the borderland in the Tang Dynasty. The main part of the text has three chapters. Taking Wei prefecture in Jiannan Guannei district in the West and Six Barbarous prefectures in Guannei district in the North as examples, comparing examples in the South in Tang dynasty, the text has analyzed the conversion between periphery prefectures and prefectures and their reasons.Chapter One takes Wei prefecture as an example, having described the processes and reasons of the conversion between Qiang periphery prefectures and prefectures. These prefectures are located in the front that struggles with Tibetan regime in Tang Dynasty, and their strategic positions are very important. In the long-term conflict between Tang and Tibet, some prefectures goes through the conversion between periphery prefectures and prefectures repeatedly, and Wei prefecture was also occupied by Tibet several times.Chapter Two has analyzed the conversion of periphery prefectures to prefectures through the evolution of Six Barbarous prefectures in Guannei district. Unlike Wei prefecture, the reasons that'Six Barbarous prefectures'turn into prefectures involve nationality merges except the similar political , military reasons as Wei prefecture'. Because'Six Barbarous prefectures'broke out and Revolt of Anshi, they had gone through migrations repeatedly.
