As one kind of interrogative sentences existing uniquely in modern Chinese language, an imperative general or disjunctive question features the "V不V" structure as its expression form. But it is of imperative function. That is, the speaker demands the listener to do or not to do something. Such linguistic form featuring difference between its form and meaning, both of which have research values in themselves, was ignored before. But, on the other hand, this form was widely used in our communications.With the guidance of "Small Triangle" research method (Three angles in triangle here, as three equally important elements in the research, refer to language's expression way, the content of the sentence and value of certain language usage respectively), this essay makes rearrangement on the imperative general or disjunctive question. First is the exploration on the features of its general form by mainly focusing on structure analyze on the "V 不 V" and the vital "H" part of the imperative, as well as on feature analyze on sentence tone. Then is the imperative function type analyze. Here the question is divided into 6 categories based on the imperative intention herein and, based on the result of analyze on language material, the features of grammatical form with various function types are confirmed. Last but not the least, summary is made on the imperative intensity of the question, according to which the question is divided into 3 levels. And also, preliminary analyze is made on the grammatical features of various types. Through the "Small Triangle" multiple research, some rules of this kind of question are disclosed. I hope that these results can contribute its practical significance to the foreign Chinese education.
