Pronunciation training is very important in performance of violin. Graceful timbre,rich and colorful tamber are both the most outstanding and fascinating instrumentality in music. The Suzuki violin method brought forward"melody training"that use the way of training vocality to train pronunciation of violin, and write the special pronunciation training in violin teaching material. At the beginning, melody training was just applied on the violin teaching. With its prosperity in some years, it was applied in the teaching of other instruments and other teaching area.The pronunciation training in Suzuki violin teaching material based on the philosophy of Suzuki education, is the combination of violin performance and violin teaching which avoid the wrong pronunciation of violin and shortcoming emerged in other contemporary violin teaching technically. Its purpose is not cultivate professional violinists, but to teach the students how to use this instrument to express the beauty of music, to develop their musical ability, enrich their spiritual worlds and develop their personalities. Its concrete teaching principles and teaching practice are both based on this purpose. Therefore, it forms a series of special teaching projects full of Suzuki character for teaching beginners in pronunciation, teaching music reading and the arrangement of students' performance.Nowadays, the piano education is extremely developed with the births of varies of new teaching methods in our country ever than before. However, the melody theory in Suzuki violin method which has been existed for almost fifty years and very famous in many other countries out of Japan is still ignored here. This study aiming the problems appearing in the present social violin teaching in pronunciation problem, research the developing situation, teaching approach and character, studies the substance of melody training and its value to the general violin teaching in our country.
