This paper studies Suzuki's music teaching method and elaborates Suzuki's music education thought and teaching practice.furthermore,makes the objective analysis on the later generation's appraisal viewpoints and tries to explore Suzuki's teaching principles in a whole and comprehensive way.The whole paper is divided into five chapters:the first chapter reviews the proess of the creation and development of Suzaki's teaching method.The second,third and fourth chapters make the thorough analysis,separately revolveing round the three aspects:Suzuki's music education thought,method and the specific voilin teaching form and curriculum materials.The fifth chapter mainly elaborates the development of Suzuki's teaching method under the modern education enviroment and expounds its significance and value.Making a comprehensive survey on Suzuki's entire education system,the object of Suzuki's teaching method was children and the content was violin teaching.The teaching process was a kind of universal music teaching activity which focused on developing students' music ability.As a kind of violin's initial teaching,the disseminaticn of Suzuki's teaching method has a positive influence on the traditicnal violin teaching and basic music edacaticn.Its outstanding idea is introduced and applied in many countries,at the same time,according to its limitation and inadcquatance,the later generation,by combining it with times,different nations' characteristics and other outstanding teaching methods,enriches and improves Suzuki's teaching method,thus enhances Suzuki's music educatim thought.
