On The Mettler Piano Sonata Op. 38 No. 1 Themes, Construction And Performance Of Materials Handling

This dissertation has analyzed the piano sonata Op.38 No.1 composed by Russian composer Nikolay Medtner from two sides which construction of theme material and how to play. At the aspect of music analyzing, writer perspective the process that composer organizes material and establishes music image when he compose this piece, through dissect various theme material. At the aspect of playing, writer analyzed the main points of playing about this sonata, through several aspect, such as touching, the control of phrase breath, dealing with voice part, the color of harmony and coordinated arrangement of melody.
