Sustainable Development And Ways Of Thinking Change

Sustainable development plays a significant role in the mode of development in the 21st century. It better coordinates the relation between human-center and nature-center, and it has attained the proper balance point between man and nature. The development is admitted and accepted by all the states in the world, and acclaimed by the people who advocate environmental protection in the world .The development is a completely new development pattern and new ethic standard. However, the development cannot be realized only by taking economic and technical actions. It cannot solve the problem to advocate protecting offspring's profit, because the old traditional culture values and the old mode of thinking are extreme utilitarianism values. This old values is opposite to the sustainable development. Only by change people's old cultural values and the mode of thinking , turning the advocacy of sustainable development what the elite and the government do into people's automatic performance, can people's unsustainable development action be restrained completely. Just as Aurelio Peccei who is the founder of Rome club said that man has created technology and invaded the creature, over exploiting destroys the living bases for tomorrow's human being. Therefore, if we want to save ourselves, the only way we do is to experience a revolution of value and mode of thinking. The old and traditional mode of thinking bases itself on old development values, which result in the unsustainable development. This kind of developing pattern is the consequence of the time of the industrial civilization. Which promotes the economic development, brings about a series of disasters as well, making man faced up with seriously survival danger. Therefore, before people completely change their traditional and unsustainable life style and communication style, the mode of thinking should be totally changed. This paper tries to seek for the sustainable development in the view of changing the mode of thinking.This paper is composed of 3 parts. Part 1 states the significance and necessity of changing the mode of thinking over the sustainable development. This part mainly offers people the contradiction between the mode of traditional thinking and sustainable development.
