See from the process of Modern Culture development, "The Light of Forked Road" is at the end of the Medieval Chinese language. so it conserves the grammar features of the Medieval Chinese. On the other hand, many auxiliaries present the same features as in the Modern Chinese language. Moreover, written by the Luoyang city dialect of that day, the whole work states a vivid dialectal character of Henan province, which is outstanding in the usage of auxiliary.This issue, taking "The Light of Forked Road "as the language materials, which keep the clear and pure phrasing characteristics. The grammatical meanings and functions of the auxiliary words in the book are carefully and concretely described by way of observation to the end and quantitative analysis. On the base of it the method of comparative analysis is used to uncover the features of auxiliary words in " The Light of Forked Road "and aimed to seek its developing source. We expect to reflect the condition of an on the side Chinese language in the early Qing dynasty and the whole Chinese language phrasing development from the textual investigation.
