With the development of economic and technology rapidly growing,the globalization process has accelerated.The concept is more and more thorough in people's feelings.Facing the international market,the brand competition is increasingly fierce.A number of countries or regions have begun to excavate the local creative design elements with their own characteristics,in order to improve the cultural recognition of local brands.This can take a place in the international market.The Chinese nation with a glorious history of five thousand years of national culture,including folk culture and art such as "Ji Dong shadow art",that is a cultural treasure with a large number of local graphic creative designs elements.It is a subject that local brand designer need to study deeply to apply the graphic creative elements in folk traditional culture to the brand image design.This paper is based on the relevant theories of "Ji Dong shadow art" in folk art,based on the research and investigation.The author summarized the origin,present situation,and artistic characteristics of "Ji Dong shadow art".The analysis is made by the large number of graphic creative elements,including local traditional graphics and creative expression or some design methods.In combination with the Western and Japanese countries successfully applied the localization graphics to the brand image design case,summary and analysis of the contained in the "Ji Dong shadow art "of graphically creative element to the possibility of application to the local brand image design which for build a theoretical foundation for the future.Through analysis and investigation,we know that in the increasingly competitive international market and the brand localization of the visual image design becomes the multitudinous international big companies to have a powerful marketing tool of the national characteristics and brand promotion,summed up in the "Ji Dong shadow art" of graphically creative elements applied to the design the brand image,not only to help on the surface of deep understanding,but can also use more local design elements,avoid copying directly-to promote the brand of cultural value.It also helps to inherit and promote the local traditional culture of Chinese "Ji Dong shadow art" from the perspective of design.
