To draw the foreign language pop song teaching into the ordinary university public music education, it both can cause the contemporary university students to feel the beauty of music, and may cause them to study foreign language in the music. Music also will enable them to learn foreign languages, experiences the melody, the rhythm in the foreign language study, it can experience the non-oneself culture and the cultural differences. It may be said that killed three birds with one stone, got three results from one effort. And the essential factors of foreign language sense, e.g. pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, etc. it all may be expressed in music.To draw and execute the foreign language pop song teaching into the ordinary university public music education, First, it conforms to the times requirements and music itself characteristics. Next, through the foreign language pop song teaching, explored a new method for the ordinary university public music education, developed an experimental path, and provided a new teaching breakthrough point. Let the contemporary university students feel the multiplicity of cultural in music, the multi-dimensional coexistence and the fusion, spur the contemporary university student on to hold the observation cross-culture phenomena vision to contact with music and to promote the progress of foreign language study.
