As the basic discipline of the music education, solfeggio, not only could improve students’ basic musical skills but also broaden musical horizons of students, meanwhile it shoulders an important task of learning and inheriting Chinese traditional music. In the form of thinking, there are some similarities and differences between national multi-sounds and Western tonal music. It is difficult to understand musical compositions comprehensively and profoundly if just only adopting auditory ways of western traditional tonal music to appreciate our national musical compositions. Therefore, it has an important practical valuable way to mix the multi-sounds music of multi-ethnic groups into solfeggio teaching.This paper taking the multi-sounds music of multi-ethnic groups in southwest of China as an example with a detailed description of its background and morphological characteristics through case studies and classroom teaching practice, then concluding the thinking form of multi-sounds music and some teaching methods. And trying to study the multi-sounds music of multi-ethnic groups from the theoretical level to the practical level. Thus promoting to heritage and develop the national multi-sounds music.The purpose of researching the thinking mode of multi-sounds music in multi-ethnic groups is to through this basic discipline of solfeggio to let more students to learn about musical culture of multi-ethnic groups and develop their aesthetic taste and the sense of appreciation, thereby to promote more communicating with ethnic groups.
