As an important part of postgraduate education,public foreign language education is an important part of improving the quality of higher education in China.In the current international economic environment and talent cultivation pattern,foreign language education has emerged some new features and new problems.To continuously improve the quality of regional graduate education in public foreign languages,it is first necessary to re-examine the status quo of foreign language education for postgraduates in the region,find problems,and explore ways to improve the foreign language education of graduate students.Taking the N University as an example,this article starts with the master's degree in public foreign language education,combines human capital theory with Maslow's needs theory and other relevant theories,and conducts a comprehensive investigation of the status of public English education for master graduate students through literature and survey methods.The analysis reveals that the postgraduates' public foreign language education still has a series of problems such as lagging education concepts,weak educational institutions,insufficient educational investment,uneven education,and obvious differences in teaching and demand for public foreign languages.In response to these problems,this paper proposes that in the process of thereform of postgraduate public foreign language education,we should pay more attention to the educational philosophy and goals,clarify its forward-looking elements,give full play to the functions of educational institutions,accurately target investment in education,and plan education standards.Objectives of Postgraduates' Public Foreign Language Teaching.By studying these realistic issues,we hope to provide a clear direction for the development of public foreign language education for postgraduates in Inner Mongolia.
