Gu Zheng, the historic musical instrument that came into being two thousand more years ago, is getting a rapid progress and development in the recent half a century to the developing history of national musical instruments. The teachingtheories researching getting in-depth, people found the proper psychology instructionsin the teaching and performing procedure is more and more helpful to improve the quality of teaching and performing.In this article, the writer chose 30 students major in Gu Zheng as the studying objects. By analyzing the temperamental quantity and Carter 16PF tests, we sort them out to make the research. We changed the teaching modes and methods to cater for the different physiology and psychology character of different students. Combining the psychology researching achievements to the Gu Zheng teaching and performing theories is to promote the teaching methods development. Using the scientific teaching method and uncover the potential studying ability, make the best use of the advantages and bypass the disadvantages, enhance their self-confidence, keep them healthy in mental to face the stage, face the life and face the society.
