This article mainly discusses the rising and development of ink-animation through analyzing its form and content, in the hope of putting forward its own ways to shape and develop the nationalization of animation.As a classical representative of Chinese animation, the ink-animation has undergone both the passed splendor and the present hardship. Based on the foundation of reviewing and analyzing of the history, the author proposed the main topic of the paper. Then the author carries on the analysis of the ink-animation's form language and provides the new ways of development. On the other hand, the success of ink-animation is largely attributabe to its Chinese traditional culture esthetic charateristic reflected in animation. Under the new condition of present culture, it is still a question to inherit and innovate, which is also discussed in the paper. The third part will focuses on how the digital technology has an effect on the producing of ink-animation and its further application supported by the digital technology.
